Jonathan Petch: Chief Executive
Jonathan joined Thurston in 1997, initially as Sales Director before becoming Managing Director and then Chief Executive.
His extensive experience includes over 30 years in the portable cabin and equipment hire business. Before joining Thurston, he was Managing Director of Sheriff Building Systems Ltd for seven years.
Peter Speight: Senior Divisional Director
Peter joined Thurston in 1994 as the Technical Department Manager having previously trained in architecture and worked with several architect practices and construction companies.
A qualified architectural technician, Peter’s speciality is building design and construction in both traditional and modular formats.
Steve has been with Thurstons for over 20 years, in that time he has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge of all our products and customer base and he now heads up the YMC Container Solutions division at Beverley and sits on the Divisional board.
Steve has extensive experience in off-site construction and was heavily involved in the off-shore industry for around ten years prior to joining Thurstons.
Mark is the latest addition to the Senior Management Team at Thurston and is responsible for all finance and Company Secretarial matters.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mark brings with him over 20 years experience of managing finance functions of SME manufacturing businesses, many at Board level.
Robert joined Thurston in early 2015, as the Commercial Manager. His extensive experience includes over 15 years in the Modular, portable cabin and equipment hire business.
Before joining Thurston, he has worked for Mechtool Engineering Ltd, Certas Energy, and Hewden in senior management roles.
Responsible for the sales of both projects and products in the south of England
Researching new business opportunities across multiple market sectors including Education, Health, MOD, Local Authorities, Architects, major construction companies and accommodation hire providers. Jonathan has been with Thurstons for many years and has a wealth of experience dealing with customers from all market sectors using many types of building solution.
Mark joined Thurstons after relocating to Yorkshire in 1999. He started working as a management trainee working within various departments gaining valuable experience and understanding of the whole company before being promoted to Sales Office Manager. Mark has vast experience of factory processes and components after spending some time on the factory floor.
Mark started his career as an engineer within the Rail sector at Crewe.
Tina has been with Thurstons since 1995, initially working in the Accounts Department as Payroll Manager then Accounts Manager. She has been working for Jonathan Petch, CEO since 2004 and is also responsible for marketing and graduate training and development.
Prior to joining Thurstons Tina worked in the Advertising industry for a number of years and gained a wealth of experience which has been translated into her current position.
